Membership Details

• Types of Membership
  • Three types of members in the society: Life Members, Associate Members and Members in Training.
• General Members
  • This membership will be open to all professional with post graduate qualification in the following specialties and having three years of experience after post-graduation.
    • E.N.T. Surgery
    • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
    • Plastic Surgery
    • General Surgery
    • Dermatology
    • Ophthalmology

• Life Membership
  • This will be available to person satisfying the above criteria.
• Associates Member
  • This will be open to all professionally qualified people in allied specialties and with interest in facial Plastic surgery example prosthetic specialties, Orthodontists etc.
• Members In Training
  • This type of membership is available to those who are doing Post Graduate studies in the specialties of Maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, E.N.T. surgery, dermatology and Ophthalmology. This is also open to those who have done their post graduate training but have not yet acquired the three years of experience after post-graduation.

• On Death,
• On being lunatic or being declared as insane,
• On not paying the membership fees of the society as stated elsewhere in the body,
• On tendering resignation,
• On being found of immoral character.

• General Members
  • They will have the right for attending the General Body and voting in the elections for office bearer.
  • Will be eligible for being elected as office bearer.
  • Eligible for concessional tariff for seminars and conferences organised by the society wherever applicable.
  • Eligible for Concessional rate for Journals published by the society at the currently available terms.
• Associates Member
  • Eligible for concessional tariff for seminars and conferences organised by the society wherever applicable.
  • Eligible for Concessional rate for Journals published by the society at the currently available terms.
  • Be in the mailing list on newsletters and announcements of society activities.
• Members In Training
  • Eligible for concessional tariff for seminars and conferences organised by the society wherever applicable.
  • Eligible for Concessional rate for Journals published by the society at the currently available terms.
  • Be in the mailing list on newsletters and announcements of society activities.
  • The membership committee will screen the membership applications and only those cleared by the committee will be accorded membership. Those who remain defaulters for more than three years in succession will be removed from the membership and if they wish to rejoin, it will be possible only has Life Members in the appropriate category.
